Emily Chong
Bio:
Emily is about 9500 (give or take 10%) days old. She was born in the Southern Pacific but educated in England. After graduating with a degree in Phsyics at University of London, Emily worked as a communications manager and freelance in Photography, while coaching lacrosse in the evenings. In 2006, she realised that she could get academic credits for google whacking and reading MacUsers, so she enrolled to study an MA in Digital Media at London Met University. Currently, Emily has a paper cut on her right hand and runs her own digital media company Future Reference Ltd.
"Music of the wall"
Emily's project aims to recreate activities that reflect natural human behaviour by eliminating complicated interface. Participants interact with the installation directly, thus connecting themselves to technology and breaking down the stereotypical technological barrier
